Kadak Chai was founded by a husband-and-wife team united by their love of chai. With Shabbir, from India and Tasneem, from Pakistan, the couple grew up with different regional traditions but shared the same understanding: chai is more than a drink.

The Kadak Chai journey began in 2014, when our founders set out to recreate that familiar, comforting flavour in a convenient instant blend. After months of testing different teas, spices and flavour combinations, Kadak Chai was introduced to Australia in 2016.
